Through Insurance by Ken Brown, Members are eligible for insurance programs designed specifically for the pool and spa industry. These programs include property and casualty, auto, hazardous materials coverage, employee dishonesty, workers compensation and “pool popping.”

FSPA offers an alternative dispute resolution that may be handled through binding arbitration. Use this program for rapid and inexpensive resolution of consumer disputes. A sample arbitration provision is available for members’ reference to include in contracts. Awards are binding on both parties and enforceable in court. Members save $1,500 on the arbitration filing fee.

FSPA has negotiated special rates with AsktheSeal.com on criminal background checks as well as a special set up rate ($99, rather than the usual $1,000) for their Seal of Security and Confidence program.

Although the owner will see all background check results that the law allows, TheSeal looks for convictions only for a defined list of violent and theft-related crimes when issuing their Seal of Security and Confidence. There is also a 7 year forgiveness policy.
