The Florida Swimming Pool Association, based in Sarasota, raised $46,500 in under a week for hurricane relief efforts in the Bahamas.

All donations were matched dollar for dollar by The Bill Kent Family Foundation. In addition, FSPA matched $5,000 in donations from its members.

Donations were given to the National Christian Foundation (South Florida) Angel Relief Fund. All money received went directly to aid.

The Florida Swimming Pool Association serves as the coordinating organization for 16 local FSPA chapters.
