The first half of 2019 has been productive for FSPA continuing education. Through the FSPA Providership, there have been 109 hours of continuing education credit transferred to the CILB. 

Dave Pruette is not one of those pool professionals who grew up in the industry and watched his parents successfully run a pool company.

In fact, that saying “right place at the right time” could be the answer Dave gives when asked why he got into the industry or how he got his start.  It was almost by accident, really.

The 2019 Annual Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF) was a great opportunity to connect with building officials and building inspectors from throughout the state of Florida. 

On the 2nd of June 2019 at the Lincoln Center in New York, Tom graduated from St. George's University, Grenada, with his Medical Doctorate. He now heads to Marshall University in Huntington, WV to take up a position as a Surgical Resident for the next five years. He’s about to find out the real meaning of hard work!

Jonathan Mosher is currently the president of A&D pools, an all-encompassing pool company focusing on service.  

Jon’s path to becoming a pool professional was paved for him when he was younger, there’s no question about that.

“As early as 10 years old I was in the family pool store,” said Jon.  “At the age of 14 I was out on different jobs, working on pools, specifically cleaning them.”
