The Buildings Officials Association of Florida (BOAF), Florida Swimming Pool Association (FSPA), and the Florida Department of Health (DOH), under the sponsorship of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Florida Building Commission, are pleased to present this 4-hour grant-funded building code training course: 

FBC Advanced Module: ANSI-15 and ANSI-7 Flow Requirements and TDH

Course Description: This course will define the differences in the requirements, concepts and specific goals between ANSI- 15 design standard and the ANSI- conformance standards. Course discussion will illustrate how to calculate TDH and determine system flow for compliance with the standards and methods of confirming compliance.

FBC Advanced Training: 2017 Residential Swimming Pools

CILB # 0613034 - 2 hours - Meets CILB FBC Adv. Module

Course Description: Understand the private residential swimming pool and spa related provisions of the 6th edition Florida Building Code. The course includes a review of the code requirements for pools and spas established in the Florida Building Code, Building and Residential Codebooks as well as the National Electrical Code, 2017 edition.

These courses are offered at no cost to license holders in the state of Florida (building inspectors, plans examiners, building code officials, licensed contractors, etc.). Non-licensed employees must provide verification of employment on letterhead, a certificate of workers compensation, or workers comp exemption. Click here for a sample verification letter.

A non-refundable $5 refreshment fee will be charged when you register. Building Officials who cannot pay online are welcome to pay at the door.
