The 2019 Annual Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF) was a great opportunity to connect with building officials and building inspectors from throughout the state of Florida. During the two day conference, FSPA Staff and chapter volunteers shared info about FSPA, educated conference attendees about the issues facing the swimming pool industry, and provided information about swimming pool training for building officials and inspectors.
BOAF members showed great interest in learning more about swimming pools design standards and construction. FSPA has partnered with BOAF in the past to offer swimming pool education to building officials and inspectors and we are looking forward to continuing to work with BOAF to provide educational resources to their members. A big thank you to FSPA Members Jack Manila, John Garner, Maurice Bushroe, and David Pruitt for volunteering their time to work the FSPA booth at the BOAF conference this year!
