Overall Standards:

  • Compliance with local State Regulations as well as CDC guidelines
  • Training for all Grand Performers by our Property Cleanliness Champion with our Health and Sanitation Guidelines and in our “Commitment to Clean Plan,” which includes hand hygiene, cleanliness, sanitation, social distancing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Property completes a monthly Commitment to Clean Certification
  • Increased frequency of cleaning and sanitizing of all public spaces with emphasis on high touch areas immediately after use
  • Individual bottled water offered to guests upon check in
  • Signage promoting social distancing, hand hygiene, and cleanliness posted throughout hotel
  • Hand Sanitizer Stations are available at high touch points such as elevator landings, meeting space, food and beverage outlets, valet and lobby
  • Face coverings are required as part of uniforms by all Grand Performers as well as guests. Casa Monica will provide masks and gloves to guests upon request and at no charge
  • Excess furniture and seating has been adjusted or removed to allow more distancing throughout the hotel
  • Additional cleanliness and sanitation measures have been implemented by Valet to reduce risks
  • All Food and Beverage Outlets are open including Costa Brava Restaurant, Cobalt Lounge, Pool Bar, In Room Dining and Starbucks in compliance with all local State Regulations and CDC guidelines

Meetings & Events:

  • All Meetings & Events are set to adhere to social distancing guidelines, incorporating physical distancing traffic flow
  • All shared equipment and meeting amenities are sanitized before and after each use, or will be single use if not able to be sanitized
  • Guests are asked to bring their own papers and pads to meetings, however, sanitized pens are available
  • Self-service buffets replaced with a variety of contactless food and beverage options
  • Redesigned food and beverage stations, removing non-essential items
  • Four guests will occupy each 60 inch round and six guests per 70 inch rounds. For schoolroom style, guests will occupy one per 6 foot table and two guests per 8 foot table
  • Roll ups containing individual silverware will be placed at each setting, with the exception of formal meal functions where place settings will be on table in advance
  • Bottled water is available on request as a break item
  • All linen, including underlays, replaced after each use

Guest Rooms/Check in:

  • Deep cleaning each guest room between stays
  • Nonessential high-touch items have been removed from each guest room and disinfecting wipes provided in every guest room
  • We utilize mobile technology including Mobile Dining, eFolio delivery, Mobile Requests via the Marriott Bonvoy app and QR Code presented at check in. The QR Code provides contact free experience for menus, general information, booking links, social distancing requirements and regulations.
  • As a health and safety protocol, daily housekeeping services have been suspended, however, guests staying a third consecutive night will receive stayover services when guest is out of the room. • In room dining will be delivered without entering guest’s room
