A German food truck, cold beer on tap, tour of the Speck
facilities and a client actually swam in the pool against a Badu jet!
What more could we want? A big shout out to Speck Pumps who hosted
a Chapter meeting at their facilities. Delicious food from a local food
truck serving up some great grub along with beer, wine and outside dining under
the stars! After dinner, a great tour of the factory and seeing hands-on
the different swim jets, pumps and other equipment that is all manufactured
here locally was the highlight of the evening. In addition, Speck held
drawings where many members won great prizes!
The Northeast Florida Chapter held their first Clay Shooting
event on October 1
at Jacksonville Clay Sports. It was such a blast everyone thoroughly
enjoyed and we can see this will become an annual event! Nineteen teams
registered and after receiving their instructions, away went the golf carts!
Dodging an afternoon rain storm, teams came in and enjoyed a delicious BBQ
dinner, cold beer, music and bragging about how well they did on the
course! Congratulations to Premier Pool & Outdoor Living for coming
in first! Zodiac and Team Jeremy Marrero ties for second! A
special thanks to Connor McCown, Zodiac, for suggesting the event,
helping to sponsor the event as well as recruiting people to participate!
We can’t forget to also thank Debi Garner, Pools by John Garner, for her
tireless efforts putting this together for our members!
We received a warm thank you from the Clay High Swim Coach
for our team sponsorship in the FSPA
