Thank you so much to Hayward for bringing their Mobile Training Van to our September Chapter meeting. We appreciate all who attended and a huge thank you to Jerry Mason, HornerXpress; Wayne Moomjian, Custom Pools by Design; and Les Williams, Aloha Pools & Spa, for running this meeting.

Thank you very much to our 2019-2020 Nominating Committee for meeting and selecting the nominees for the 2020 slate of Board members. We appreciate your time: David Griffiths, Insurance by Ken Brown; Les Williams, Aloha Pools & Spa; Randy Bourbeau, Aquatic Pool Repair; and Jeff Adams, Tri-City Pools.

Save the date, Wednesday October 9
the presenting speaker and sponsor for the Chapter meeting is Jandy. Join us from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que, 12148 S. Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers. Kyle Marshall will discuss: How to maximize the savings and minimize the headaches of variable-speed pumps. He will touch on the difference between programming and the advantages of automation, how to prevent GFCI issues and thesalt system and variable-speed pump dilemma.

Please invite your employees and future members. Dinner cost is covered with a $15 donation for members and $20 for future members. Please remember to bring business cards!

The Florida Gulf Coast Chapter will be holding its 1st Annual Silent Auction on October 9 during our regularly scheduled meeting. We are busy collecting items! The auction will take place online one week prior to our meeting where members and future members can give their highest bid for the items generously donated. The auction will run daily, finishing the night of the meeting. So that means that all meeting attendees will have the last opportunity to bid. This style event is always a great way to donate and to get some great deals on some items in and out of the pool industry. The proceeds from this event stay local and help make our Chapter as healthy as can be. Your support is needed! Thank you in advance for your generous donation. Please feel free to contact Diane if you have any questions.

With 45+ active members, the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of FSPA invites you to help support the 2020 Board of Director's goals for education, outreach and networking! We have a new program that will benefit our Chapter and your business. With meeting and event sponsor options, this is a great win-win for all! Contact Diane to learn how to help.

November 13 the Chapter meeting will include a food drive and is sponsored by Pool Corp.  Mark your calendar for December 11 for the Chapter’s Holiday Party.
